AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva may still leave the club this summer.

The Rossoneri are thought to be cash-strapped and almost sold Silva to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer. Milan appeared to have accepted a €46M bid for the Brazil international, but then upped their asking price to €65M, a sum PSG balked at.

But with the stopper and Ibrahimovic being the stars who would bring in the most money were they sold, the door has not been completely closed on their departure, with Galliani only willing to promise that Massimiliano Allegri’s side will be competitive next season.

"Will Ibra and Thiago Silva continue here? I think they will, but who knows what can happen", Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"The transfer window is very long, until 31st August, 19:00 hours.

"I will tell you what is for certain, which is that we will be very competitive. This does not mean they will leave though. I am only saying that because anything can happen during the transfer window, unpredictable things could occur."

Silva is still admired at the Parc des Princes, while the Brazilian has also been a long-time target of Barcelona.

Ibrahimovic meanwhile has also been linked with PSG, along with Manchester City and Real Madrid.
