Powerful Brazilian striker Hulk has reported that little progress has been made on a proposed switch to Chelsea.
The Blues have been working overtime to secure Hulk from FC Porto for most of the summer, but completing a deal has proven to be hard going.
Chelsea are not the only side keen on the forward, with Paris Saint-Germain having looked at bidding for the player’s services, although a rethink is thought to have been had at the Parc des Princes when initial enquiries revealed Hulk to be dreaming of Stamford Bridge.
But the 25-year-old is no nearer to signing for the Champions League winners and, with the London 2012 Olympic Games imminent, insists his focus must be on matters on the pitch.
"I have reached no agreement with Chelsea or any other clubs", Hulk told Lancenet.
"I have four more years left on my contract with Porto and now I am focused on the Olympic Games with my national team.
"My agent is dealing with these things and I will not lose my focus thinking about them."
Hulk could further reinforce Chelsea’s desire to sign him with an impressive performance at the Olympics.
The striker has been included as one of three overage players in Mano Menezes’ squad.
