Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain are looking to table a massive bid of over €60M for AC Milan’s two most important players – namely Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.

According to L’Equipe, the director for football of PSG – Leonardo – has given the go-ahead for a special bid of over €60M for Ibrahimovic and Silva to be sent to Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani.

The French sports daily claims that contact between Leonardo and Galliani was never broken even after the Italian side rebuffed PSG’s initial approach for Brazilian defender Silva. It is also claimed that a meeting has been arranged between the representatives of both teams in order to discuss the terms of the deal today.

These new developments are have gripped French football especially given the fact that the Rossoneri rejected a €46M offer from PSG in June for Silva.

Moreover, Silva just signed a new contract with the Serie A giants on 2nd July which should tie him up until July 2017.

On the other hand, Swedish striker Ibrahimovic has been mooted to be unhappy at the lack of ambition shown by the Rossoneri this summer and held a meeting with his agent and AC Milan officials yesterday to put forth his concerns.

It remains to be seen how the situation will develop and whether AC Milan finally part with their two most important players after months of speculation about their future.
