Heerenveen have confirmed that they have agreed to sell winger Luciano Narsingh to PSV Eindhoven for a fee of €4.1M.
Narsingh’s contract with Heerenveen is sue to expire next summer and, with the 21-year-old unwilling to pen an extension, the Frisian outfit wanted to realise some value from the starlet.
Now Narsingh will ply his trade at the Philips Stadion next season.
"Narsingh would not sign an extension with Heerenveen", said the club’s technical director Johan Hansma.
"We did not want to risk losing him on a free transfer next year", he added, concluding "he would have just walked out of the door."
The Holland international – Narsingh has two caps to his name – is now undergoing a medical in Eindhoven and is expected to complete his transfer tomorrow.
He made 34 appearances in the Eredivisie for Heerenveen last season, scoring eight times.
