Juventus have knocked back a bid from Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Arturo Vidal.

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri received a bid of some €25M from the French giants, but instantly rejected the offer, telling PSG that the Chilean star is not for sale under any circumstances.

Vidal arrived at Juventus last summer from Bayer Leverkusen, for a fee of €11M, after the Bianconeri pipped Bayern Munich to his signature.

He enjoyed a hugely impressive first campaign in Serie A with the Turin giants, helping Antonio Conte’s men to snatch the Italian title away from AC Milan.

Juventus consider Vidal as essential to their plans for next season, with a Champions League tilt on the horizon – the Old Lady are desperate to make a splash in Europe’s showpiece competition.

Vidal is under contract in Turin until 2016.

It remains to be seen whether PSG will be put off by Juventus’ rejection or instead submit an improved offer.
