A contract for Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain has still not been agreed, the player’s agent has reported.

PSG have come to terms with AC Milan for the transfer of the 30-year-old, who is expected to follow the path just trodden by Thiago Silva in swapping the San Siro for the Parc des Princes.

But thrashing out Ibrahimovic’s contract is taking some time, with many details to be ironed out and the Swedish hitman set to pocket extremely large wages in France.

"Nobody expected that Zlatan would leave Milan, but the transfer market is like that, you never know", Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola told Sportitalia, stressing the unpredictable nature of the deal.

"We are focused on finalising the transfer of Zlatan to Paris Saint-Germain.

"There is still not agreement. It is a big transfer and there are many details which must be taken into account."

Ibrahimovic is set to become the second highest paid player in world football when he finally signs for PSG, just behind Anzhi Makhachkala forward Samuel Eto’o.
