Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in his first interview after joining Paris Saint-Germain, has been quick to emphasise that he has joined a club which is building a ‘dream team’.

The Swedish striker was unveiled as a PSG player in a news conference earlier today and spoke of his feelings after joining the Ligue 1 giants saying, “I am delighted to be a part of PSG”.

The 30-year-old forward joins Les Parisiens after days of negotiation. There were questions about the motive behind his move from Serie A giants AC Milan, to which Ibrahmiovic responded by saying that Paris Saint-Germain are building a dream team and that he wanted to be a part of such an exciting squad.

“PSG have a dream team that will keep growing. I wanted to be a part of this project. I will play with some of the best players in the world, like Thiago Silva. Who would not want be a part of this team”, mused the former Milan man.

When asked about the prospect of playing in France’s top flight, the Swede accepted that he does not know much about the French league but said that the opposing teams should know what to expect of him.

“I do not know much about the championship of France”, accepted the former Barcelona striker.

“I’m here to win with my team. It doesn’t matter whether I know my opponents or not. I may not know Ligue 1, but Ligue 1 sure knows who I am”, added the newest arrival at PSG.

Ibrahimovic has joined the wealthy French side on a three-year deal and the PSG faithful must be very excited at the prospect of seeing the star striker in action soon.
