Zlatan Ibrahimovic is due to be presented as a Paris Saint-Germain player later today after personal terms were agreed for the striker’s switch to the Parc des Princes.

PSG had offers to sign both Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva accepted by Italian giants AC Milan; Silva quickly inked a five-year deal, but Ibrahimovic’s contract took longer to thrash out.

But the 30-year-old has now signed a three-year deal with the French giants and represents a major transfer coup.

The Swedish international has been unhappy this summer with Milan’s ambition as the cash-strapped Serie A side struggled to convince the former Inter man that they could reclaim the title from Juventus.

PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti will be delighted with the capture – the Italian has already beamed with delight at securing Silva.

Ibrahimovic will be expected to fire PSG to the Ligue 1 title for 2012/13.
