Arsenal have received three bids for wantaway striker Robin van Persie.

According to British broadcaster BBC, the Gunners have received offers from Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus.

All three bids are believed to be around the £15M mark for a man who has only one year remaining on his current contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Van Persie has refused to sign an extension to that contract, putting the pressure on Arsene Wenger’s men to sell the Holland international this summer.

The Dutchman has expressed his view that Arsenal are not planning to move forward in the manner he would wish.

The Gunners want to realise a greater fee than £15M for a player who netted 30 times in the Premier League last season however and are set to demand increased offers are submitted.

Juventus have hinted that signing Van Persie will be difficult, but admitted to do so would be “a dream”.

Arsenal fans are likely to hope that if Van Persie does leave then the Bianconeri’s dreams are realised as a nightmare scenario would be the Dutchman joining a Premier League rival.

Van Persie is not expected to travel with Arsenal tomorrow on their tour of Asia in a further sign of how he is edging closer to the exit door.
