New Marseille coach Elie Baup has admitted that either Cesar Azpilicueta or Stephane Mbia are likely to be sold this summer.

Azpilicueta has attracted serious interest from Champions League winners Chelsea, who are thought to have indicated that they will pay €7M for the Spaniard, while Marseille want a minimum of €9M.

Mbia meanwhile is also a player who has his fair share of suitors. Arsenal have been linked with the powerful defender-cum-midfielder in the past and Galatasaray were recently confirmed as keen; the Cameroon man is also rated at €9M.

For Baup, who wants to strengthen his squad at the Stade Velodrome, selling to buy is the only show in town, and should see one of the two depart.

"Everybody has to sell before buying", said the Marseille boss.

"We are restricted and forced to sell anyway, because the owner has let us know how things are – it could be either Mbia or Azpi", added Baup.

Clubs are likely to be lining up to enquire about Azpilicueta and Mbia, with Inter and Valencia the two latest sides to be linked with the former.

Baup is desperate to breathe new life into his Marseille team and has identified Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz as a potential recruit.
