English Premier League outfit West Ham have agreed a fee with Real Mallorca for defender Ivan Ramis.
The Spanish side have confirmed that the 27-year-old will now travel to meet the Hammers for a medical, with a switch to the London-based side expected to be wrapped up soon.
"Mallorca and West Ham have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ivan Ramis", Mallorca announced on their official website.
"The defender has permission from the club to have a medical with what will be his new team", they added.
The centre back is a product of Mallorca’s youth system and made his senior debut for the islanders in 2001.
In 2004 he stepped up to Mallorca’s senior side, from the club’s B team, and quickly established himself as a fixture in the squad.
At international level, Ramis has experience with Spain’s Under-19, Under-21 and Under-23 sides.
