Turkish giants Galatasaray are pondering a swoop for Barcelona full-back Adriano.
The Brazilian’s position at the Camp Nou looks insecure following the Blaugrana’s signing of Spain international Jordi Alba and new coach Tito Vilanova could allow the 27-year-old to move on.
Adriano played 26 times in La Liga last season, but it is unlikely he will enjoy a similar amount of minutes on the pitch in the forthcoming campaign.
It is a fact of which Galatasaray are well aware and the player’s situation is being monitored in Istanbul.
And Adriano could land at the Turk Telekom Arena in what would be a big coup for the Turkish champions.
Galatasaray are due to jump straight into the Champions League group stage and want to make a big impression, something Adriano would surely help with.
The 27-year-old joined Barcelona in 2010 from fellow La Liga outfit Sevilla.
