France legend Zinedine Zidane is to join the staff of Real Madrid’s B team.

The former Los Blancos great currently serves as the Spanish champions’ sporting director, but has continually expressed a wish to move into coaching at some point.

Indeed, the man who won the World Cup with France in 1998 has continually insisted that he wants to enter the arena of the dugout in the future.


Now Zidane, who is also aiming to earn his coaching qualifications, is set to gain some practical experience in the new season.

The Frenchman will help out on the coaching staff of Real Madrid B, aiming to develop young starlets for a place in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven.

Real Madrid’s hopefuls surely cannot help but be inspired by the former Ballon d’Or winner.
