Gennaro Gattuso has bemoaned the changes which took place during his final period at AC Milan, accusing the Rossoneri of now having a dressing room that is "in chaos".
The tough-tackling midfielder ended a long association with the Italian giants this summer by moving to Swiss Super League side Sion.
And for the 34-year-old, the club he has left behind is barely recognisable, with little respect existing for senior players.
"There is chaos in the dressing room", said Gattuso.
"Simple rules that we have always abided by are now no longer respected.
"I always arrived very early for training, doing some exercises or just drinking a cup of coffee. In the last months, some young guys came just ten minutes before training, just walking in without saying a word.
"Older players are no longer respected."
For the former Rangers midfielder, it was clearly the right moment to call time on his long period at Milan.
"I have experienced things that I had never seen before during my 13 years at the club. That’s why it was time to go."
