Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo has popped up onto the radar of Fenerbahce.

The Turkish giants are believed to be looking closely at the Paraguay international and could push to take him to Istanbul.

Cardozo is under contract at the Estadio da Luz until 2014, but may well be available for the right price.

Fenerbahce have been linked with making a €14M bid for the 29-year-old, a figure which would be sure to turn heads in Lisbon.

Cardozo joined Benfica in 2007 from Argentine outfit Newell’s Old Boys and quickly made an impact with the Portuguese giants.

Known for his powerful long distance shots and pinpoint free-kicks, Cardozo has clocked up 41 caps for Paraguay, scoring eight goals.
