Young Spanish striker Rodrigo has extended his contract with Portuguese giants Benfica.
The former Real Madrid youth team player has put pen to paper on a deal to keep him at the Estadio da Luz until 2019, with his minimum fee release clause being set at €45M.
Rodrigo joined Benfica from Real Madrid in 2010 and has made a real splash in Portuguese football.
He was loaned out to English side Bolton Wanderers in 2010/11, but claimed a regular spot at Benfica last season.
The 21-year-old, who was born in Brazil, scored nine goals in 22 SuperLiga matches, also featuring regularly in the Champions League.
Rodrigo is rated extremely highly in the Portuguese capital and Benfica will be delighted to have secured his services for a further seven years, while also protecting their investment with a high buy-out clause fee.
