Serbian striker Nikola Zigic could leave Birmingham City before the transfer window slams shut, his agent has revealed.
Spain could be Zigic’s destination, with La Liga outfit Real Mallorca showing serious interest in 31-year-old.
Zigic suffered the pain of relegation with Birmingham in 2011, despite having won the English League Cup in the same season.
Last season the Serbian found the back of the net 11 times in 35 games in England’s second tier, but could well swap that level for the Spanish top flight this summer.
"Right now it is all very open", Milan Kalasan, Zigic’s representative told Diario de Mallorca.
"He could be transferred or loaned.
"We are talking about that with Birmingham City and the number of seasons that he could be at Mallorca.
"We have not made any decision."
Zigic has substantial experience of Spanish football, having enjoyed stints at Racing Santander and Valencia.
