Aly Cissokho is expected to seal his switch from Lyon to Valencia imminently.
Les Gones and Los Che have agreed a fee for the left-back, believed to be in the region of €7M, and Cissokho now just has to pass a medical in Spain later today.
Lyon have been open to offloading the 24-year-old for some time, but interested parties have struggled to match their valuation of the player.
Now though it appears Cissokho’s three-year spell at the Stade Gerland is approaching its end.
Valencia are seeking a replacement for Jordi Alba, who was sold to Barcelona earlier this summer.
Cissokho joined Lyon in 2009 from FC Porto, with the French giants splashing out €14M to secure his services.
