Lazio are poised to snap up French centre-back Michael Ciani from Bordeaux.
The Italian giants are paying a fee of around €2.5M for Ciani, who is looking forward to the chance to experience playing in Serie A.
The 28-year-old joined Bordeaux in 2009 from Lorient and quickly established himself as a regular in the club’s backline.
Ciani has been linked with the exit door previously, but now he is set to taste football outside France and Belgium for the first time in his career.
The defender has picked up one cap for France at international level.
