Stephane Mbia can leave Marseille this week, the club’s coach Elie Baup has admitted.
The powerful Cameroonian defender has been linked with the Stade Velodrome exit door and with costs needing to be cut at Marseille, can leave for the right price.
And that should be this week if Mbia heads abroad, otherwise the transfer window remains open in France until 4th September.
"Mbia could move this week", Baup told RMC.
"The situation is clear to me and him; he has expressed a wish to leave.
"He is still available, as at Montpellier where he had a good game.
"While he is here he must give the maximum. But we need to find the best solution for the club."
