Liverpool have agreed to sell midfielder Charlie Adam to Stoke City for a fee believed to be around £5M.
Adam has already arrived for a medical at the Britannia Stadium, being greeted by boss Tony Pulis, and is expected to wrap up his move to the Potters later today.
The Scottish midfielder only signed for Liverpool last summer, joining the Reds from Blackpool for around £7M.
Adam had been mooted as a target for Fulham, but it is believed that he wished to remain close to his home in the north west of England, rather than moving down to London.
Last season the 26-year-old made 28 appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool, scoring two goals.
He has clocked up 16 caps for Scotland.
