Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath has admitted that attacking midfielder Ashkan Dejagah looks to be on his way to Fulham, a development that the German is not happy about.

Dejagah is closing on a move to England, with Wolfsburg set to receive about €2M from selling the 26-year-old Iranian.

Magath has reflected on a deal which is being forced on the Wolves due to Dejagah’s contract expiring in a year’s time.

"I have asked Ashkan his opinion about Fulham", said Magath.

"I am not happy, but we had to take the whole situation into consideration", he added, referring to the Iran international’s expiring contract.

Dejagah joined Wolfsburg in 2007 from Hertha Berlin, the club with which he began his professional career.

He represented Germany on the international scene from Under-17 level to Under-21 level, before opting to play for the country of his birth, Iran, making his debut earlier this year.
