Paris Saint-Germain have a far better team than AC Milan, in the view of former Rossoneri striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 30-year-old moved from Milan to join PSG in the summer, citing his desire to be part of an ambitious team and project as the reason behind the switch.

relatedNewsStory Ibrahimovic has already settled well in the French capital, playing a key role for Carlo Ancelotti’s men and scoring seven goals in six Ligue 1 matches.

Eyebrows were raised when the Swede swapped Milan for PSG, but given the Rossoneri’s rapid decline, Ibrahimovic is even more sure that he made the right choice.

Indeed, he now believes his new club have overtaken his old side.

"I think PSG’s team is far better than AC Milan’s", Ibrahimovic told Eurosport.

"It was an important reason for me deciding to sign", he added.

"By attracting Thiago Silva, myself and a few other good players, the squad has become really strong.

"By contrast, Milan just let lots of quality go.

"I fully support the ambitions of PSG to become one of the best clubs in the world."
