Ajax have handed a trial to former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ronnie Hawkins.
The youngster was released by Spurs at the end of last season and is on the lookout for a new club at which to continue his career.

Hawkins, who has been described as a technically gifted central midfielder, began the match at the unfamiliar position of left back.
However, in the second half he was moved into midfield.
Hawkins will hope that he has impressed Ajax or at least done enough for the Dutch outfit to take a further look at him.
The match ended 1-1, after Belgium youth international Mats Rits ensured Ajax would not be beaten.
Frank de Boer’s men are next in competitive action after the international break, when a trip to minnows Heracles is on the agenda.
