Chelsea midfielder Oscar insists he has not been surprised by the atmosphere surrounding the big clashes in the Premier League, as it is quite similar to Brazil.

The Blues snapped up the Brazil international from Internacional over the summer, splashing out a sum of around €25M to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Oscar has quickly shown what he can do domestically and wasted no time announcing himself on the European stage either, scoring a brace against Juventus in the Champions League.

The 21-year-old has formed a potent attacking trio with Juan Mata and Eden Hazard, which defences in the Premier League have found difficult to cope with.

Oscar will be hoping to have a similar impact on Sunday, when Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge.

It is a huge clash, but one Oscar insists he will be ready for, given the similarity in atmosphere between big games in England and his homeland of Brazil.

relatedNewsStory"It is quite similar to Brazil", Oscar told Chelsea’s official site.

"You have the same things – the big crowds and the adrenalin is really unbelievable, you feel it rushing through you.

"I played in a city in Brazil where there are only two big clubs and Internacional versus Gremio was unbelievable – the pressure, the team atmosphere and everybody flying on the adrenalin.

"The big games against big opponents, those are the best games to play in"
