Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed claims that the team are overly reliant on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swedish striker has contributed a large number of goals already this season and handed PSG another three points at the weekend, when he scored the winner in the side’s 1-0 Ligue 1 victory away at Nancy.
So far the 31-year-old has hit ten goals in just nine Ligue 1 games as PSG have powered their way to the top of the table.
But Ancelotti does not accept that his team are relying on Ibrahimovic and insists that the side is set up in such a way to provide the chances for the striker to score.
"I do not think we are dependent on Ibrahimovic", said the former AC Milan coach.
"We were attracted to him because of his strong personality and qualities.

"Everyone works hard for him."
Ancelotti admitted though that, despite Ibrahimovic’s heroics for PSG, he does not believe the striker is a serious contender to claim the Ballon d’Or.
"I think Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the top candidates this time", said the Italian.
