Mesut Ozil has insisted he is only concerned what Jose Mourinho thinks of his performances for Real Madrid, not the media.

The German playmaker has come under fire at points already this season for a series of displays which were seen as not living up to his ability, while when he has played well, he has been lauded to the heavens.

For Ozil though, it is only what Mourinho thinks which matters, with pleasing the Portuguese tactician his overriding objective.

"In Spain, when you have a great game, you are the best in the world and when you have a bad one they criticise a lot", he said.

"I have had to get used to that.

"But, the only thing that is important to me is what the coach says."

The Spanish champions can take a firm grip of their group if they can put Dortmund to the sword and also gain revenge for losing to the same side two weeks ago in Germany.
