Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has ranked Luis Suarez as the greatest striker he has ever played with.
Gerrard, who made his 600th appearance for Liverpool against Newcastle at the weekend, was participating in a Twitter question and answer session for his sponsors Adidas and also revealed several other interesting insights into his views.
The midfielder has played with a number of top strikers for Liverpool, in Fernando Torres and Michael Owen, while at international level, Gerrard turns out with Wayne Rooney in an England shirt.
However, when asked to name the best striker he has ever played with, Gerrard answered: "Luis Suarez".
Questioned on who the best player he has ever played against is, the Liverpool man pointed to a France legend.
"Zinedine Zidane", said Gerrard. "He had everything".
In terms of players who have left Liverpool and who Gerrard would like to see return, the Reds captain was clear on his choice.

And on managers, Gerrard admits he would love to play under Jose Mourinho.
"Mourinho, the special one", he said when asked which boss he has not played for he would like to play for.
