Klaas-Jan Huntelaar believes that Schalke had the better of last night’s Champions League clash against Arsenal, though cannot complain at only having gained a point, due to being 2-0 down.
Huntelaar was on target for the Bundesliga side, starting the two-goal fightback that ultimately saw the game end 2-2.
With it, Schalke keep control of Group B, sitting one point ahead of Arsenal and holding the chance to wrap up qualification if they can defeat Olympiacos at home in their next game.
However, it could have been even better for Huntelaar’s men, with the Dutchman believing that they largely bossed the match against Arsenal.
"If you come from 2-0 down against a team like Arsenal and drag a point out of it, you should be satisfied", he told NUsport.
"But there were even more positives.
"For a long time, we had the best of the game.

Huntelaar was reflecting upon the fine opportunity he had with the match at 2-1, when he could not find a way past Gunners goalkeeper Vito Mannone.
"My shot was only tame. Luckily we got the equaliser anyway", he added.
