The agent of former Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola insists his client is very much open to offers to return to management for the start of next season.

Guardiola is ready to jump into the hot seat of one of Europe’s biggest clubs when the time comes, said the Spaniard’s representative Jose Maria Orobitg, while singling out Chelsea and Manchester City as possible destinations.

However, the man who parted company with Barcelona at the end of last season, is set on taking at least one year out of the game, having relocated his family to New York.

"Anything is possible if it is from next season", Orobitg told Tutto Mercato, amid speculation linking Guardiola with taking over at AC Milan.

"I talk quite often with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani and he is always very nice.

"Our relationship is good, so who knows what will happen in the future."

Orobitg left the door open for more teams that just Milan to make a pitch to Guardiola though.

"When I say that everything is possible, then I’m also thinking about Manchester City, Chelsea and other big clubs."

Guardiola enjoyed four hugely successful seasons in charge of Barcelona between 2008 and 2012, winning three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues.

Still just 41 years old, Guardiola will surely have his pick of any number of jobs when he chooses to return to football in time for the 2013/14 season.
