Roma boss Zdenek Zeman has added fuel to the fire ahead of tomorrow’s Rome derby by claiming that the Giallorossi boast more passionate supporters than city rivals Lazio.
Zeman is in his second spell at Roma, but he has also coached Lazio, taking charge of the club between 1994 and 1997.
Now, following a break of 13 years – he left Lazio to join Roma in 1997 – he is set to enjoy yet another Rome derby.
And Zeman is sure he knows which club’s fans are the more passionate.
"I felt good at Lazio, but I am now at Roma", said the Czech tactician.
"Here there are the most passionate supporters.
"There were 40,000 for our first friendly match.

Lazio currently sit above Roma in the Serie A standings.
However, a victory for Zeman’s men would take them above their bitter rivals.
