Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has described his hat-trick against Aston Villa last night as "unbelievable".
The Mexican was thrown on from the bench by Sir Alex Ferguson at half time, with Manchester United trailing 1-0 at Villa Park.
The situation quickly got worse for Ferguson’s men when Andreas Weimann grabbed his second of the game with 50 minutes gone; 2-0 down, Manchester United looked to be heading for defeat.
But that was to ignore the impact Hernandez was set to have as he fired home in the 58th, 63rd and 87th minutes.
His second strike was deflected in off Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar, though Hernandez maintains that it was on target for goal and, as such, he is claiming the hat-trick.
It is something few would deny him given his superb display.
"I’ve seen the replay and I think it’s going on target", the Mexican told MUTV.

And Hernandez, who has staked his claim for a regular starting spot, explained that the feeling of scoring the winner was unbelievable.
"It felt unbelievable to score the winner."
The victory extends Manchester United’s lead at the top of the Premier League to four points, with both second placed Chelsea and third placed Manchester City playing later today.
