Fiorentina are pondering tempting Christian Benteke to Serie A, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Belgian hitman has seen his stock skyrocket over the last year due to a widely acclaimed debut season in the English Premier League with Aston Villa.
And Benteke has been quick to look to a future away from Villa Park, with Aston Villa having been embroiled in a relegation battle last season and subsequently having no European football to offer the striker for 2013/14.
Fiorentina narrowly missed out on Champions League football in Serie A last season, but do have the Europa League on the agenda.
