Veteran Italian midfielder Massimo Ambrosini has chosen to leave AC Milan, opening the door to a switch to either West Ham or the MLS.
Ambrosini is out of contract with the Italian giants, but was due to hold talks over extending his stay at the San Siro.
Now Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted that the 36-year-old has opted to try something new.
"We will part ways because he did not want to renew his contract with AC Milan", Galliani explained to reporters.
