Rangers legend Mark Hateley believes midfielder Nicky Law has all it takes to excel at the Ibrox giants.
The Light Blues announced the signing of the Englishman from Scottish side Motherwell on a three-year deal last month.
The 25-year-old, who started his youth career with Sheffield United, helped the Steelmen in finishing second in the top tier of Scottish football in the 2012/13 season, behind champions Celtic.
Hateley, who lifted five consecutive SPL trophies with the Ibrox giants between 1990 and 1995, has explained that he has noticed Law over the past seasons and praised his technical abilities in midfield.

“I have seen him over the past two or three seasons in many, many games and he is very good in a three and good in a five [in midfield]”, the former English forward told Rangers’ official site.
“He has lots of energy, will get forward and get into the box and he’s a nice lad who Alistair [Ally McCoist] will enjoy working with.
“But I think Nicky’s game is in to out, definitely. When he plays in a tight three he has a lot of energy to get into the wider areas of the park and up to support the striker.”
McCoist’s side clinched promotion to the third tier of Scottish football after winning the Scottish Third Division by a huge margin in the 2012/13 season.
Rangers have also snapped up midfielder Arnold Peralta, goalkeeper Cammy Bell, and strikers Jon Daly and Nicky Clark this summer.
