Spain Under-21 international Alvaro Morata has revealed that he would like to play for a foreign club if he decides to leave Real Madrid.
The 20-year-old forward has been sensational for La Roja in the ongoing European Under-21 Championship in Israel. The former Atletico Madrid youth player has scored three times in three games for Julen Lopetegui’s side in the tournament.
The Real Madrid striker’s current contract runs until June 2015.
“If I leave [Real Madrid], I would like to play abroad”, Morata told Spanish radio station Cadena SER.

He also explained that it will be difficult for him to stay at Real Madrid if the new Los Blancos manager decides to bring more strikers in the summer.
“If the new Real Madrid coach brings in one or two strikers, it’ll be more difficult.”
The Spanish heavyweights are without a head coach at the moment, after former manager Jose Mourinho returned to Chelsea this summer.
The starlet forward has been linked with several other La Liga sides, as well as Bundesliga and English Premier League clubs.
Morata notched up 15 appearances under Mourinho in the 2012/13 season, scoring twice.
