English Premier League giants Chelsea have made an offer of €16m for Udinese forward Matej Vydra, according to Sportitalia.
The 21-year-old Czech Republic international recently enjoyed a season-long loan spell with Championship side Watford, and scored 24 goals out of 47 appearances under manager Gianfranco Zola in the 2012/13 campaign.
Vydra arrived at the Italian club in the summer of 2010 from Czech side Banik Ostrava, and his present contract with the Little Zebras runs until June 2014.
He earned rave reviews for his displays with the Hornets this term and was subsequently rewarded with the 2012/13 Championship Player of the Season award.

He also registered his name on the PFA Team of the Year in the second tier of English football.
Vydra scored his first goal, as well as the winner, for Watford against Crystal Palace in a league game last August. The match ended 3-2.
On the international front, he has earned seven caps for Czech Republic and has scored twice.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have also snapped up German forward Andre Schurrle this summer.
Update: Italian sources indicate the bid was €16m, however Udinese want €18m.
