Manchester City have announced the appointment of former Malaga and Real Madrid boss Manuel Pellegrini as the club’s new manager.
The Chilean tactician has joined the club on a three-year deal, and will take the helm of affairs from 24th June.
He replaces former manager Roberto Mancini, who guided the Citizens to a Premier League title as well as the FA Cup during his stay at the Etihad Stadium from 2009 to 2013.
“I am delighted to accept this hugely exciting opportunity. The club has a clear vision for success both on and off the pitch and I am committed to making a significant contribution”, Pellegrini told his new club’s official site.
