Germany international Andre Schurrle, who has just signed a five-year contract with Chelsea, has insisted that national team coach Joachim Low approves of his switch to Stamford Bridge.
Within Germany, Schurrle’s move from Bayer Leverksen to Chelsea has come in for some criticism from those who believe he should play within the Bundesliga in the lead up to the 2014 World Cup.
But Schurrle insists he has joined the Europa League winners with Germany coach Low’s blessing.
"Joachim Low believes that Chelsea suits my style of play", said Schurrle to German daily Bild, when asked about the impact of the move on his international ambitions.
