New Manchester City signing Jesus Navas has hailed the club’s fellow new boy, manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Navas has joined the Citizens from Sevilla, while Pellegrini also makes the move from La Liga, where he bossed Malaga, to become Roberto Mancini’s successor at the Etihad Stadium.
And Navas is relishing the opportunity to work under the former Real Madrid tactician.
"Everything I know about him is positive. Every team he coaches plays well, and everyone in the city will support him", the winger told his new club’s official site.

"He’s important because he will help the team and we all know the importance of a good manager and a good person that we trust.
"I think [his teams are good] defensively as well."
Navas will now forget about his new club temporarily, with the Confederations Cup in Brazil on his agenda as part of the Spain squad.
He is joined in that group by another Manchester City player, schemer David Silva.
