Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has spoken of his desire to continue "playing at the top level" in order to reach his dreams of playing in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Cesar joined QPR from Serie A stalwarts Inter Milan during the summer of last year on a four-year deal. Since then, the iconic Brazilian made 24 league appearances for the Rs and kept a total of six clean sheets.

But with the London outfit relegated to the Championship after an abysmal 2012/13 season, Cesar has expressed his concern about his future with the club.

Premier League giants Arsenal are believed ready to pounce on the 33-year-old custodian as they seek a more reliable replacement for their erratic Wojciech Szczesny. But the player’s agents offered Cesar to AC Milan instead. And the shot-stopper wants to continue at the very top.

"After I ended my experience with Inter, many things have changed for me.

"But now, it is still important that I keep playing at the top level because I have dream of playing in the World Cup", Cesar told Sky Italia.

Cesar’s deal with QPR ties him with the club until the end of the 2015/16 season.
