New Nurnberg signing Martin Angha has explained that he felt he had to leave Arsenal this summer as he would not have received the opportunities he badly needs at the Emirates Stadium.
The 19-year-old defender agreed to join Bundesliga outfit Nurnberg from the Gunners in April, penning a four-year contract with Der Club.
A Switzerland Under-19 international, Angha joined Arsenal in 2010 from FC Zurich, picking the Gunners ahead of a number of other clubs, including Bayern Munich.
Now though he is indeed heading to Germany – and it is a decision he has explained he felt he needed to make for the betterment of his career.

"I feel ready for the professional game, but I could see no way that I would be used on a regular basis in the Premier League at Arsenal next season", Angha told the Bundesliga’s official site.
"I had a good time in London and I thank Arsenal for everything.
"But now I am looking forward to the challenge with Nurnberg."
Angha was presented with signed shirts by Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesacker on his final day at Arsenal.
