Inter president Massimo Moratti has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing midfielder Fredy Guarin, although they are not the only club tracking the player.

The English Premier League side are believed to have offered €20m for the Colombian schemer, but saw it knocked back by Moratti.

Nevertheless, the Nerazzurri supremo is keen for the club to make sales this summer to finance their own spending.

And Guarin is a potential sale, with more than just Spurs keen on the player, Moratti has admitted.

"Guarin? He’s a fantastic player, so it is common sense that he is on the wanted list of several clubs. For example Tottenham", the Inter president explained to reporters and fans.

Moratti was also keen to praise the club’s fans for their continued support, with the Nerazzurri having endured a difficult season which saw them finish ninth in Serie A.

"During times of trouble, the behaviour of the fans has always been special, you are a great audience", he said.
