Stephane Courbis, the agent of Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny, has revealed that his client is on the summer shortlists of German heavyweights Bayern Munich and Spanish giants Barcelona.

Koscielny, 27, arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2010, and has a contract until June 2017. He has won plaudits for his displays for the Gunners over his three seasons, but has failed to bag any silverware with the club.

The French centre-back has clocked up a total of 119 appearances for the club and has scored ten times.

His performances have attracted the interest of the Bavarians, who achieved a historic treble in the 2012/13 season, and Catalan giants Barcelona, who bagged the Spanish league title this term.

While confirming that he has had no contact with either Barcelona or Bayern Munich, Courbis said to Eurosport "but I know that Laurent is a part of the shortlist, along with three or four players, at both clubs."

The defender insisted recently that the Gunners must continue their quest for silverware and explained that he wishes to lift trophies with the club, or he may be forced to consider moving elsewhere.

Koscielny reached the final of the League Cup with Arsenal in 2010/11, but failed to win the trophy, following Arsene Wenger’s side’s 2-1 defeat against Birmingham City.
