Former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker Milan Baros is considering an offer from a Chinese club, his agent Pavel Paska has announced.

The 31-year-old former Czech Republic international won a Champions League title with the Reds in 2005, during his time at Anfield between 2002 and 2005.

He signed for Turkish giants Galatasaray in the summer of 2008, and also lifted a Turkish Super Lig title in 2011/12. He left the club in February this year by mutual consent and rejoined his youth club Banik Ostrava.

His manager has now explained that he has received an official offer from a Chinese club, and it is believed that the club is Jiangsu Sainty – who finished eighth in the Chinese Super League last season.

"We received an official offer from a Chinese club. Milan [Baros] has not yet decided about it, and he wants to discuss it with his family”, Paska told iSport.

“We need to get information about the city, the weather, or even a nursery for the children.”

Meanwhile, it is also believed that Baros has rejected an offer from Turkish side Sivasspor, where Brazil legend Roberto Carlos took charge as the head coach this summer.

Carlos had worked as an assistant to head coach Guus Hiddink at Anzhi Makhachkala.
