SM Caen may have suffered the heartbreak of missing out on promotion to Ligue 1, but will be pleased at the attention from three clubs, including Monaco, for star defender Raphael Guerreiro, according to L’Equipe.
At just 19 years of age, Guerreiro has become a hot property within Ligue 2 circles, thanks to his 38 games for Caen.
And it is expected that Caen will be in a position of choice this summer, with Monaco, Reims and Serie A club Parma vying for the youngster’s signature.
Additional interest from a fourth club has been reported, though no further details are available at this stage.

The Portuguese is contracted at Caen until 2015, while it is understood the club are keen to get €5m from his sale.
And given the financial might currently being wielded by Monaco, it remains to be seen if Reims and Parma will be able to offer a better option.
Guerreiro graduated to Caen’s senior side last year, and went on to become an instant regular with the coastal club.
He even scored a goal in the league and has the versatility of being able to push forward from his left-back position, to operate as a winger.
