Napoli have secured a deal to buy winger Dries Mertens from PSV Eindhoven, according to Sky Italia.
New Napoli coach Rafael Benitez has been keen for the Azzurri to sign Mertens and negotiations have been ongoing in a bid to take the player to Italy.
The 26-year-old has now thrashed out an agreement to join last season’s Serie A runners-up, bringing down the curtain on his two-year stint with PSV Eindhoven.
Mertens joined the Philips Stadion side in 2011 from fellow Dutch club FC Utrecht.

When Napoli will officially announce the capture of Mertens is unclear, but the Azzurri look to have their man.
