Barcelona midfielder and Spain international Cesc Fabregas has expressed his belief that La Roja have what it takes to "go all the way" on the road to success, playing up the country’s chances nearing 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Spain showed good, solid football against South American heavyweights Uruguay in their match at the Arena Pernambuco for their first fixture in Group B of the 2013 Confederations Cup, with Barcelona man Pedro and Valencia forward Roberto Soldado bringing home a 2-1 win.
"[We can go] as far as we want", Fabregas told Barcelona’s official site.
"This team’s made a habit of doing well and has a style all of its own. As long as we can maintain the standards we’ve set, there’s no reason why we can’t keep these good vibrations going", the 26-year-old midfielder added.

The key, Fabregas adds, would be to make sure they keep to their style and play their own game, explaining: "We’re just trying to play our game and our tournament. We can win it, just as long as we do what we know best, which is to keep possession and control the pace of the game.
"When we do that, we’re very difficult to beat, as we’ve shown", the Barcelona man concluded.
Spain have won the last three major competitions they have entered, securing consecutive European Championships in 2008 and 2012 as well as the World Cup in 2010.
