AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has insisted that the club have not received any offer from other clubs for star forward Stephan El Shaarawy.

The 20-year-old Italy international has earned rave reviews for his displays with Milan, ever since signing up for the Italian giants in the summer of 2011.

His performances have also attracted the interest of several clubs in Europe, one of which has been identified as Manchester City.

However, Galliani has revealed that the club have received no offers for him as such, and the Rossoneri are keen on holding on to the player.

"We never thought of selling him, and there have not been any particular offers for him”, Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.

El Shaarawy has a long term contract at the San Siro until June 2018. He signed a one-year extension with the club in February this year.

The former Genoa youth player clocked up 46 appearances under Massimiliano Allegri last season, scoring 19 times, and assisting seven times.

Allegri’s side finished third in Serie A in the 2012/13 campaign.

El Shaarawy lifted the Italian Super Cup with Milan in 2011, and he was also recognised as the 2012 Serie A Young Footballer of the Year.
