Former Napoli midfielder Emiliano Bigica has told his old club to pull out all the stops to sign Fernando Torres from Chelsea if they allow Edinson Cavani to leave this summer.
Cavani is a wanted man and has already been the subject of two bids from Chelsea, while Real Madrid and Manchester City are also watching developments extremely closely.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is sticking to his line that any interested party must pay Cavani’s €63m release clause.
Bigica feels that if Cavani does leave though, he can be replaced, and with Torres. Ironically though, Napoli have already turned down a €30m plus Torres offer from Chelsea for the Uruguayan.

"I’d do anything to pick up Fernando Torres from Chelsea", Bigica said to Tutto Mercato when asked about who could replace Cavani.
"He has had some troubles, but with [Rafael] Benitez he has always excelled.
"The Spaniard could do well at the San Paolo."
Bigica, who won the European Under-21 Championship with Italy in 1994, has moved into coaching since his retirement in 2007, bossing Novara, Vigevano, Verbania and Sporting Bellinzago.
